On the night of the radiant Resurrection of Christ in 2026, a festive Paschal divine service was performed at the St. Nicholas Monastery of Zhydychyn. Many people gathered at the monastery. They came with their families, with their children, together with their loved ones, to greet Pascha together in prayer.

The Divine Liturgy was led by Archimandrite Constantine (Marchenko). Before the beginning of the divine service, the traditional procession of the cross around the church took place. A quiet, focused, and at the same time joyful atmosphere reigned in the monastery. From all sides resounded the Paschal greeting:

Christ is Risen! — Truly He is Risen!

During the divine service, the «Resurrection» choir sang under the direction of the choir director Oksana Strechen. Their singing helped to experience the joy of this holy night still more deeply.

After the Liturgy, the nighttime blessing of the Paschal baskets took place. People stood around the church, and a great circle of the faithful closed around the holy site. It was especially pleasant to see many families who had come together for the celebration. The blessing proceeded calmly and with a familial warmth.

This Paschal night at the Zhydychyn Monastery once again showed how important it is to greet the feast of the Resurrection of Christ together in common prayer.
